Ask any aeronautical engineer what the hardest part of getting an airplane to fly is. Without fail, they will tell you it is getting it up off the ground. The toughest part requires finding enough strength to overcome the forces pushing the plane to the ground. Gravity has a heavy hold on the plane. But through the power of a greater force called thrust, the plane pushes through the opposition to move easily through the air. So it is with the Christian. You have a formidable foe to fight. This foe is the devil. He is the prince and the power of the air, so he has a heavy hand with which to fight. But just as the airplane overcomes its opposition by possessing a greater power, you, too, can overcome the devil by possessing the matchless power of Jesus in your life. Join us in this program, Wind Beneath my Wings, as Kim Miller of Woman at the Well Ministries takes us through Psalms 30:1, which says, "I will extol thee, O Lord; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me."
