Woman at the Well Ministries is a Bible-based teaching ministry founded on the Word of God and focused on bringing the truths of the Bible to our everyday lives. The teachings of this ministry are intended to point you to Jesus, strengthen your daily walk with Christ, and to glorify our Saviour.

We are approaching the New Year. Most of us will make resolutions to be better at something or in something than we were in 2025. Many will choose specific areas to improve so that they can become a better version of themselves in the year ahead. Some efforts will fade quickly, others may linger for a while, but few will last through the entire year. Only those commitments that we purpose in our hearts and determine to see through to completion will truly take hold.
Today, it is our prayer that each and every one of us will purpose in our hearts, strategize in our souls, and fully commit to being more for Jesus in 2026 than we have ever been before. This won’t happen organically, because you can be certain that the devil wants nothing more than to distract and detour you from that goal.

Have you ever wondered what it looks like for a life to finish well? Deuteronomy chapter 34 gives us one of the most beautiful conclusions to a story in all of Scripture. Moses, the servant of the Lord, reaches the end of his journey, and God Himself brings him to the top of Mount Nebo to see the Promised Land that lay before Israel. Moses had led faithfully, prayed boldly, interceded passionately, and walked closely with God. And at the end of his life, God honored him in a way that belongs only to those who know Him deeply.
This chapter reminds us that the true measure of a life is not what we accomplish but how well we walk with God. It shows us the compassion of a God who stays with His people to the very end and the faithfulness of a servant who finished the work God gave him.
