Saul wasn’t able to defeat the giant in his life because he wasn’t willing to take God at His Word and trust Him completely. So Saul did it his way—and it didn’t work. David, on the other hand, declared the power of the Lord and allowed God’s power to flow through him to defeat the giant. David trusted completely, removed himself from the planning, and simply followed the will of God.

There is nothing you can do on your own to merit your salvation. There is no way you can pay that sin debt, but the debt is paid in full if only you believe. However, God said to be careful to maintain good works constantly. He was bringing it to your attention that it needed to be a conscious effort. Your life needs to show forth the miraculous grace and mercy of your risen Saviour. Join us in this program, of Woman at the Well Ministries as Kim Miller takes us through Titus 3:8, which says, "This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men."
